Deluxe Detail 2 Bucket Kit with Grit Guards & Lids (15L)

Two 15 litre buckets, one for your wash solution and one for rinsing the pad. Running two instead of one is the single biggest change you can make to stop putting swirl marks in your own paint, because the grit you pull off the car ends up in the rinse bucket rather than going back onto the panel.

How the two bucket method works

1. Wash bucket gets your WASH solution. Rinse bucket gets plain water. Grit guard in the bottom of both.
2. Load the wash pad from the wash bucket and do a panel, top down, in straight passes.
3. Before you go back for more solution, rinse the pad in the rinse bucket and rub it across the grit guard. That is the step that actually releases the dirt.
4. Repeat. By the end the wash bucket is still clean and the rinse bucket is filthy. That is the whole point.

Good to know

• Lids and grit guards interchange across all three of our 15 litre buckets, including the Wheel Bucket.
• The lids mean you can stack them, store them, and carry them without slopping water through the garage.
• Wheels are far dirtier than the rest of the car. Keep a third bucket for those instead of running brake dust through your wash water.
