Car Detailing Kits
Every kit here is a complete job in a box, put together so you do not end up with three products that fight each other.
The three wash kits are the main line. STARTER to wash a car properly for the first time, ENTHUSIAST to add the buckets, wheels, tyres and protection, PRO for the full studio setup with its own wheel bucket, caddy and brush set. If you are choosing between those three, the Car Wash Kits page puts them side by side with what is in each.
The rest are single job kits: wheels and brushes, tyres, leather, snow foam, and the Gtechniq coating kits, which carry the prep and the applicators as well as the coating.
Not sure where to start? The two bucket wash method, done properly walks through what each piece is actually for.
Common questions
Which kit should I start with?
STARTER if you have nothing and want to wash a car safely. ENTHUSIAST if you already wash and want the buckets, the wheels, the tyres and the protection. PRO if you want the studio setup with a separate wheel bucket and the full brush set.
Is a kit cheaper than buying the pieces separately?
Every kit with a crossed out price is, and that crossed out price is the real total of the parts bought singly, not an invented number. Add them up yourself if you like. Two honest exceptions: the 2 Bucket Kit costs exactly the same as the two buckets bought separately, because it is the same two buckets in one box, and the Gtechniq coating kits cost more than the bare coating on its own, because they add the prep spray, the applicator and the take off microfibres the job actually needs.
Do I need a pressure washer?
No. Every wash kit works off a hose. The snow foam kits are the only ones that need a pressure washer, because the lance runs off it.
Will any of this strip my ceramic coating?
No. Every shampoo in these kits is pH neutral, which is why we use them on coated customer cars every day.
How long does a kit last?
WASH doses at 10ml per litre, so the 1 litre bottle in a kit is about twelve washes. The hardware lasts years. The towels last hundreds of washes as long as they stay out of fabric softener.
