Interior Detailing
Leather, plastics, fabric and glass all want something different, and using one product across the lot is how trim ends up shiny and leather ends up dry.
Leather Clean & Coat cleans and conditions in one pass. APC lifts the skin oils, sunscreen and makeup a damp cloth will not shift. Interior Dressing puts back the depth UV takes out of vinyl and plastic, in satin rather than a wet shine. GLASS does the windows and screens. Then the plush 500 GSM cloth for dusting and the detailing brushes for vents and seams.
Common questions
Which product goes on which surface?
Leather Clean & Coat on finished leather seats, trim and steering wheels. Interior Dressing on vinyl, rubber and plastic. APC on fabric and on the grime a damp cloth will not shift. GLASS on windows and screens. Four products because four surfaces behave differently, not because four is better than one.
Will the dressing make my dash shiny?
No, and that is deliberate. Interior Dressing leaves a satin finish rather than a wet one. A glossy dash throws a reflection up into the windscreen on a sunny day, which is the reason most people stop using dressings altogether.
Is Leather Clean & Coat safe on my seats?
It is made for finished leather, which covers most modern seats, trim and steering wheels. Test an out of the way patch first on anything unusual, perforated or aftermarket. Vacuum the seams before you start: grit sitting in a seam is what wears leather through, and no amount of conditioner fixes that.
What is safe on the screens?
GLASS, and it is safe on tinted windows too. Spray it onto the cloth rather than onto the screen, so nothing runs down into the trim or the switchgear, and use the plush 500 GSM cloth rather than whatever is in the door pocket.
Why keep a separate cloth for the inside?
Because a cloth that has been near wheels or lower panels is carrying grit, and the inside of a car is full of soft plastic and screens that mark easily. The 500 GSM plush lifts dust up off a dash instead of dragging it across, and it never leaves the cabin.
