The three things you actually need to wash a car without putting swirl marks in it: a pH neutral shampoo, a wash pad that holds grit away from your paint, and a towel that dries the whole car in one pass.
It is where we point someone who has been washing with dish soap and a household sponge. Everything else builds on top of this.
What is in it
- 1 x WASH 1L — pH neutral shampoo, around 12 washes
- 1 x Microfibre Wash Pad — 500 GSM, holds dirt down in the pile
- 1 x Dry Guy XL — 1200 GSM, 90cm x 60cm
What it does not include
Buckets. If you already have two, you are set. If you do not, add the 2 Bucket Kit with grit guards, or step up to the Enthusiast Kit, which has them plus four more chemicals.
How to use it
- Two buckets. One with 80ml of WASH in about 8 litres of water, one with plain water for rinsing the pad.
- Rinse the car in the shade before you touch it.
- Wash top down in straight passes, rinsing the pad every two or three panels.
- Rinse, then dry with the Dry Guy in single flat pulls.
