A long thin brush for the inside of the wheel, which is where most of the brake dust actually is. Slim enough to pass between tight spokes and around big brake calipers without scraping either.
A wheel with a clean face and a filthy barrel is not a clean wheel. It is the first thing you notice when the car is on a hoist, and the first thing that undoes an otherwise good wash.
How to use it
- Wheels cold, wheels first, before you touch the paint.
- Spray WHEEL into the barrel and let it dwell.
- Feed the brush in and work it around the inside of the rim, then rinse before anything dries.
- Turn the steering to full lock to get proper access to the front barrels.
Good to know
- Take it slowly around painted or powder coated calipers. Thin does not mean it cannot mark something if you force it.
- Keep it in a wheel bucket, never in your wash water.
