A 15 litre bucket of plain water whose only job is to strip the dirt off your wash pad before it goes anywhere near your soap. Grit guard in the bottom, lid on top.
This is the bucket people skip, and it is the one doing the protecting. Every bit of grit that ends up in here is a bit of grit that did not get dragged back across your paint.

How to use it
- Fill it with plain water. No shampoo. It is not a second wash bucket.
- After every panel or two, dunk the pad and rub it across the grit guard before it goes back for more solution.
- When the water goes properly murky, tip it out and refill. Fresh water is cheaper than paint correction.
Good to know
- Pairs with the Wash Bucket, or take both in the 2 Bucket Kit.
- Keep the two dedicated. Swapping them around defeats the entire point of running two.
- Lids and grit guards interchange across all three of our 15 litre buckets.
