A pH neutral shampoo that cleans without stripping the wax, sealant or ceramic coating you have already paid for. It works in a bucket or loaded into a snow foam cannon, so one bottle covers the wash and the pre-wash.
It is what we wash customer cars with in the Oxley studio.
Specifications
- pH neutral. Safe on coated and uncoated paint.
- Dose: 10ml, one capful, per litre of water
- A 1 litre bottle is around 12 washes at that dose. The 5 litre is around 62.
- Sizes: 1 litre and 5 litre
How to use it
- Fill a 15L wash bucket about half way, roughly 8 litres, and add 80ml of WASH. That is eight capfuls. Mix it through.
- Fill a second bucket the same way with plain water. That is your rinse bucket.
- Rinse the car well in a cool, shady spot before you touch it.
- Wash top down in straight back and forth passes, not circles, with a Microfibre Wash Pad. Rinse the pad in the rinse bucket every two or three panels.
- Rinse the car and dry it with a Dry Guy.
Good to know
- Loads into a snow foam cannon for a thick pre-wash foam.
- Being pH neutral, it will not shorten the life of a coating you have paid for. What that actually changes, and the three products in your kit that should not be neutral, is in What pH Neutral Car Wash Actually Means.
- Wash in the shade. Anything that dries on hot paint leaves marks.
- The full routine, including the order of work and the mistakes that undo it, is in The Two Bucket Wash Method, Done Properly.
5 litre shipping
A full 5 litre bottle is around 5.4kg, which is past the flat rate. Australia Post quotes its freight live at checkout, and its value does not count toward the free shipping threshold, so a 5 litre is charged freight whatever else is in your cart. It ships within Australia only. The smaller bottle ships on the flat rate like everything else.
